Dezeen Showroom: German bathroom and kitchen manufacturer Axor has launched a bathroom faucet collection called Axor Edge, by French designer Jean-Marie Massaud.
The range includes a three-hole mixer, single-lever mixer and a wall-mounted mixer – all of which come in four height options. There is also the option for the products to be asymmetrical and cantilevered.
Each faucet is available in 15 Axor finishes, from matt black to chrome. Axor describes the collection as a "sculptural composition at the washbasin".
The faucets are cut, shaped and polished using a "diamond-cutting technology" to create "ultra-precise" edges.
"More than a faucet, each product in the collection is a jewel, a masterpiece, a unique architectural object drilled from a brass block and then dressed with personal features," said Massaud.
"A functional piece of art that shares your intimacy for life – that's my understanding of luxury."
