The latest edition of our Dezeen Weekly newsletter features an art storage building designed by MVRDV, which is now open to the public in Rotterdam.
Billed as the "world's first publicly accessible art depot", the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen features glass display cases filled with 151,000 artworks.
The building brings together the entire art collection of the neighbouring Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.
Readers are impressed. One called it, "a timeless fusion of architecture and art".
Other stories in this week's newsletter include a studio for a filmmaker on a wooded site beside lake Porovesi in Finland, 10 interior projects that feature exposed brickwork and Mathieu Lehanneur's transformation of the Renault 4L car into a luxury-travel vehicle.
