On day 14 of the Dezeen 15 digital festival, Anab Jain and Jon Ardern of design studio Superflux discuss six ways in which people can move away from actions that destruct our planet's ecosystem. Watch the conversation live at 3:00pm London time.
"We need to remember that we are not just on this Earth: we are of this Earth," they write in their manifesto. "The interdependence is real: humanity as ecology, ecology as humanity."
"For those schooled in a dichotomy between 'humanity' and 'nature', we will need to change how we think," they continue. The studio's manifesto outlines how such changes can be put into practice.
London design and film studio Superflux was founded by Anab Jain and Jon Ardern in 2009 to explore technology, politics, culture and the environment. Its work is currently on show at both the Venice Architecture Biennale and the Vienna Biennale.
The Dezeen 15 festival sees 15 contributors present ideas that could change the world over the next 15 years in a live video interview. Each contributor will also write a supporting manifesto.
